Knock-out Match between Pakistan and Australia began with a lot of expectations from both team but the match was one sided. Australia registered a comprehensive win over Pakistan to enter the cricket World Cup semifinals.
Australia easily reached target and two of the batsman scored half centuries .Shane Watson and Smith scored half centuries while Maxwell scored decent 44.
Pakistan which choose to bat after winning toss collapsed leaving a very small target for Aussie batsmen. Australian Hazlewood took 4 wickets, Mitchell starc took 2 and the remaining bowlers with their disciplined performance bowled out Pak for just 213.
Now Australia will face India in its semi final match on 26 th march. In 2011 Australia lost in semi finals and now they are planning to take revenge against india. The first quarter finals match was conqured by South Africa, second by Indians in 109 run win.
