For sometime now, Rumours have been ripe that IPL Franchise Kings XI Punjab is up for sale and the Owners have been holding talks with Interested Parties.
Brushing aside the reports, Preity Zinta who is the co-owner of Kings XI Punjab declares she have no such plans what-so-ever. She even says her IPL Franchise is earning good profits and only wishes to see the team continue last year's form.
In 2014, Kings XI Punjab made it to IPL 7 Final but failed to lift the trophy as Kolkata Knight Riders overpowered it in the end. Kings XI Punjab entered Semi Final in IPL 1 and the next 5 seasons have been terrible as the franchise failed to enter even the knockout stage.
Logos of a Condom company on Kings XI Punjab's jerseys in IPL 8 garnered everyone's attention. Preity Zinta says Media is trying to create a controversy out of nothing even though the same logo was seen on jerseys of other IPL teams as well.
