Former AP Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao became a rival of TDP due to the sequence of incidents happened in the past few years. He kept highlighting the alleged irregularities by the TDP Government in the recent past.
To everyone's surprise, IYR Krishna Rao joined BJP in the presence of Amit Shah the other day. He could be the BJP Candidate for Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha Constituency if the buzz is true. BJP Leadership seems to have assured Visakha Sitting MP Kambhampati Haribabu that he would be nominated to Rajya Sabha in future.
IYR Krishna Rao could be a weapon in the hands of BJP because he have complete information regarding the every move of TDP Government until his retirement as Chief Secretary. He, however, is unlikely to win contesting on the BJP Ticket considering the anguish Andhrites have against Centre over failure in implementation of key promises.
