AP Government Advisor Parakala Prabhakar lambasted former Chief Secretary & Brahmin Welfare Corporation chairman IYR Krishna Rao for making sensational allegations against CM Chandrababu Naidu & Ruling Party.
In response to IYR's allegation that CM denied appointment to him for the past 6 months, Parakala Prabhakar said: 'We respect IYR Krishna Rao. CM himself appointed him as Brahmin Welfare Corporation chairman. Is it fair to found fault with government policies on public platform? He should have discussed about any issue with CM directly but no attempts have been made in this regard. TDP Govt implemented 12 schemes through Brahmin Welfare Corporation'.
Speaking to media at Somajiguda press club, IYR Krishna Rao said: 'What did I do wrong?? It's not fair to accuse me of irresponsible and not offering information to TDP MLAs. If district coordinators alone haven't been passing information to Legislators, Then there is some issue in the party itself. Beneficiaries willn't be divided as TDP beneficiary and YCP beneficiary. I myself sought the post of Brahmin Corporation chairman. I worked without charging any salary. I don't have plans to enter active politicsâ¦I'm not so rich or powerful to walk in such a path'.
AP Government on Tuesday suspended IYR Krishna Rao as the chairman of Brahmin Welfare Corporation. This order has been issued by special Chief Secretary Sambasiva Rao.
