Jagadeeshwar Reddy amassed ill-gotten wealth. says Komatireddy
By: Tupaki Desk | 2 Aug 2021 12:34 PM GMTThe war of words between Minister Jagadeeshwar Reddy and the Komatireddy brothers shows no signs of abating. Days after Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy entered into a wordy duel and tried to stop the minister from speaking by snatching his mike, elder brother Komatireddy Venkat Reddy too has joined the issue. He charged Jagadeeshwar Reddy of amassing untold wealth through corrupt means.
Speaking at Nalgonda on Monday, he said that Jagadeeshwar Reddy did not have even a two-wheeler in 2014. But he now owns a palatial mansion in Nagaram that would put KCR’s Pragathi Bhavan to shame, Komatireddy said. He sought to know how Jagadeeshwar Reddy amassed so much wealth in such a short period. He said that despite being in politics for decades, he and his brother were still living on rented premises in Nalgonda.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy reminded that he has his ministerial post to achieve Telangana. He also said that the Komtireddys do not have a history of party-hopping. We have steadfastly remained with the Congress and have not changed parties, he added. He said that his family does not have a history of doing illegal businesses.
Referring to the arrest of Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, he said that his brother was arrested just because he raised protocol related issues at Munugode. He advised the TRS leaders to work for the welfare of the people. Instead of doing real estate business, they should focus on developing their respective constituencies and help the people, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said.
