Jagan Cabinet Portfolios: Target 2024!

A close observation on the portfolios allotment for Council Of Ministers indicate YS Jaganmohan Reddy did plan everything perfectly with the goal of retaining power in 2024. Usually, Any Chief Minister will offer high priority to caste equations while inducting any Leader into the cabinet. Interestingly, Jagan took caste equations into consideration even while allotting the portfolios.
The focus of Jagan is more on the Communities which were loyal to TDP or Regions which are known to be TDP Strongholds. Offering 8 Cabinet Berths and Speaker Post to BCs is the master stroke. In addition, BC Leader Pilli Subhashchandra Bose was appointed as Deputy CM.
Ample prominence was offered to Kapu Community as well. While Anna Nani from West Godavari received Deputy CM Post, Kanna Babu from East Godavari got the crucial Agriculture Ministry.
An indication was sent to public that Women have been given due recognition and respect. Sucharitha who belongs to SC Community is being appointed as Home Minister. YSR made Sabitha Indra Reddy Home Minister of United AP. Kurupam (ST) MLA Pushpa Sreevani became Deputy CM. Thaneti Vanitha received Women & Child Welfare Portfolio.
Actually, Jagan allotted more Ministerial Berths to Andhra Region than Rayalaseema and that's a calculative move. In Rayalaseema quota, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy got prominent portfolios (Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Mining). None of the other Leaders in this region received such prominence. People of Rayalaseema won't complain about it as CM himself hails from here.
