Statewide Bandh Call over Special Status

Special Status Sadhana Samithi chief Chalasani Srinivas breathed fire on Union Government for announcing nominal Special Package instead of Special Category Status. He has given a statewide bandh call and public life gonna affected due to it on September 9th (Saturday).
Mr. Chalasani told Special Status and Special Package is AP's right. He demanded Centre to include the draft of the Special Package in the Bill. He claimed Students Unions and various other organizations have extended support to the bandh call.
On the other hand, YCP Chief Jagan gave a bandh call in protest against Special Package announced by Centre and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu for welcoming it. He appealed people from the grassroots level to join the movement for mounting pressure on Chandrababu. 'Centre will accord Special Status only if Chandrababu Naidu ends ties with BJP. AP CM should resign for failing to achieve Special Status. This isn't Babu's family affair! All the parties need to take part in the bandh,' said Yuva Neta.
