War of words between YCP Members and TDP Members during the debate on drought situation in Assembly became a hot topic in the political circles.
CM Jagan accused TDP Government of not even offering a single rupee under Zero-Interest Scheme in the past 5 years. That is when TDP MLA Atchannaidu informed TDP implemented Zero-Interest Scheme from 2014 to 17 and there were only Rs 570 crore of pending bills.
Then, Jagan alleged Chandrababu Naidu got used to speaking blatant lies. He challenged, 'I will bring the records..are you ready to resign if your claims are proven false? They allot Rs 172 crore but none of it will be spent. For 2018-19 alone, Govt has to pay Rs 3,068 crore for Zero Interest Scheme and it will be around Rs 15,000 crore for 5 years. For neglecting farmers welfare, You have been sitting in the Opposition'.
On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu asked Jagan to behave decently and respect his age while being the Chief Minister. He said: 'You can't insult the Opposition. How could you ask us, 'Gadidalu Kasara?''.
