YS Jagan extended support to the people of 13 villages protesting against establishing Divis Laboratories near Kakinada in East Godavari since 85 days. He accused Government of harassing the people taking part in the protests with false cases and implementing 144 Section for about 82 days. '22 Cases have been filed against MLA Dadisetty Raja. 7 out them have been murder cases. Does this government knew what murder case means?,' he questioned.
YCP Chief maintained: 'We knew jobs could be created if Industries were set up. But, Government should know if its good or bad when 25,000 people lose their livelihood because of a factory'.
Yuva Neta blamed AP CM Chandrababu Naidu for misusing his powers to favor few individuals. He told people would welcome if Divis Laboratories was set up in the company's Pharma City. 'We won't tolerate if Government doesn't pay heed to the plight of common man. Chandrababu will continue in power only for the next two years. Thereafter, Its going to be YCP Government. If TDP Govt goes ahead, We would remove the factory from this location soon after coming to power,' he warned.
