Jagan Ends The Misery Of Govt Employees
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Jun 2019 3:38 PM GMTGovernment Employees have been demanding the scrapping of Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) since years. The Previous Government hasn't taken any concrete measure but kept blaming Centre for everything. Whereas, CM Jaganmohan Reddy scrapped the CPS on the day he took the charge in the CM Chamber at AP Secretariat. He assured that decision would be taken on restoring the old pension scheme during Monday's Cabinet Meeting.
In addition, Chief Minister decided to pay 27 percent of the salary as interim relief to the Government Employees. Even the revision of the pay scales will be conducted at the earliest.
Jagan increased the salaries of Contract Workers with immediate effect. He also gave an assurance on regularisation of jobs of contract workers based on their qualification and experience.
Government Employees used to lead their lives happily during YSR regime. Jagan reminded YSR Rule with the swift moves he took for the welfare of the employees.
