YSR Congress chief Jagan kept saying Farm Loan Waiver costing Rs 87,000 crore is impossible. He now claims his words has come true Today.
Jagan: 'Dharma Sri, a farmer, obtained Rs 50,000 loan from Society on 4-2-2014. First Installment of Loan Waiver released by Govt is sufficient for Interest (Rs 6,200). Today, The Farmer still have to pay over Rs 50 crore including the interest. Rs 3,000 crore per Year released by Govt isn't sufficient for the interest to be paid for Banks'.
At this stage, Speaker cut the mike of Jagan and given an opportunity for Ruling Party Leaders to speak. Minister Prathipati, Kalva Srinivas and Kala Venkat Rao began the counter attack against YCP.
Later, Jagan questioned TDP Government, 'Is it fair to speak lies in the House? Govt says Rs 8,000 crore was required for Input Subsidy. Farmers had paid Rs 48,000 crore interest in the past three years. It's because of this government farmers suicides has increased. Neither farmers were able to clear their old loans or obtain fresh loans'.
