Jagan Fixes Parameters To Give Tickets For Candidates!
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 July 2022 10:30 AM GMTWhen Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said earlier that the government wants to clean sweep the next elections by winning all the 175 Assembly seats, many felt that his comments might have slipped out of his tongue. But the YSRCP looks like he is fixed on his target and he has been focusing on the same.
A review meeting was held at the Chief Minister Camp office in Tadepalli on the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam program. Addressing the party legislators, Jagan made some interesting comments. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the legislators who are not actively taking part in the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam program.
Stressing the possibility of YSRC winning all the Assembly seats, the Chief Minister said that the government is doing a lot of welfare for the people and the legislators are not taking the welfare schemes to the public, he said. Don't feel bad, I am being open here. Only the winning horses will be given tickets, he said.
It is an open secret that Jagan's charisma worked well for the YSRCP in the previous polls and without even knowing the candidate's face, people voted for the party. Barring a few MLAs, the majority of the MLAs will not be recognized if they step out, this is the situation here.
Despite implementing the welfare schemes, the government also has some troubling points. O get out of that the ruling party has been trying hard to highlight the welfare it has been doing. Now Jagan wants the legislators to do the same.
Jagan might also understand that his Charishma will not be sufficient to win the polls this time and the candidates should have some good image, which is why he is pushing the legislators for it. Saying only the winning horses will be given a ticket also says YSRCP doesn't want to take any chance in the upcoming polls.
YSRCP's aim to win all the 175 Assembly seats looks like Jagan wants to do the same as his dad YSR did with Chandrababu Naidu. When YSR was alive, he won two back-to-back elections and Telugu Desam Party was forced to stay in opposition. Now Jagan wants to do the same and even worse by not making TDP win even a single seat.
