AP Cabinets Approves Various Welfare Schemes

The much awaited Andhra Pradesh cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy gave its nod to various welfare scheme that aims to provide financial assistance to various sections.
The Cabinet approved the YSR Cheyuta scheme, Jagananna Chedodu, YSR Sampoorna Poshana, Jaganna Vidya aDeevenba.
Under the YSR Cheyutha scheme, BC, SC, ST, and minority women under the age of 45 to 60 will be given Rs 18,142 each per year as financial assistance for four years. This scheme will be started from the 12th of August and it is expected that there will be around 24 to 26 lakhs beneficiaries of the scheme.
Jagananna Todu scheme aims at providing interest free loans to small merchants and there might be more than 9 lakh beneficiaries of the scheme. With this, street vendors and handicrafts will get a boost up.
For the flagbearer schemes, YSR Sampoorna Poshana and Sampoorna Poshana Plus the cabinet has allotted Rs 1863 crores. This scheme enables, gives the beneficiaries power to sell the plots and houses given by the government after a period of 5 years.
Under the Jagananna Vidya Devena scheme, the amount will be deposited directly in the accounts of the studentâs mothers in four installments.
