Jagan Offers Clarity On YCP Candidates

Election Notification is likely to be issued on March 3rd or 4th. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has been conducting review meetings repeatedly to finalise the party candidates based on their winning chances. Though TDP is yet to announce the names of any of the candidates officially, Party Leadership asked some of its leaders to prepare for contesting the elections during the internal meetings.
There is curiosity among everyone about the candidates announcement of YSR Congress. During the meeting with Constituency in-charges and party leaders, YS Jaganmohan Reddy assured that announcement of YCP Candidates will happen within one or two days after the issuance of Election Notification.
YCP Leadership will announce the party candidates in the next week. More than 100 Names could feature in the first list of candidates. All those Leaders who received the nod from Jagan during Praja Sankalpa Yatra will be receiving MLA/MP Tickets. YCP decided not to welcome those Sitting MLAs/MPs who defected to TDP. That's a good sign for the leaders who worked sincerely for YCP in the past 5 years.
