Election Effect: Jagan Government To Bring Another Scheme!
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 Sep 2022 2:53 PM GMTNo matter what happens, the Andhra Pradesh government is not ready to stop the freebies. The state government is openly highlighting the benefit the freebies will offer. Even at the Supreme Court, the YCP said it is supporting the freebies. Moreover, the party is even taking forward the freebies.
For the past few days, we have been hearing that a few leaders are having a negative image among the voters and this might impact the election result. Keeping this in mind, the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government is making massive arrangements to bring another big freebie.
Under this, the YCP government is gearing up to revamp the Kalyanamastu scheme which was kept aside for the past three years. Not just remapping, the scheme underwent a name change and the scheme is named YSR Kalyanamastu and Shaadi Tofa schemes. The scheme is likely to come into force from the 1st of October.
The YCP government bringing back the scheme after keeping it aside for three years made the political observers suspect that the government might be doing this keeping the elections in mind.
It has to be mentioned here that, the YCP government canceled the Dulhan scheme under which the Muslim women used to get money. When the issue reached the Court, the state government said, there are no funds no continue the scheme. Now the government has announced the YSR Kalyanamastu scheme. This made the political observers suspect a political angle behind this.
