Jagan Lawyer to Rescue Jayalalitha

Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa, who was sentenced to four years imprisonment in disproportionate assets case by the special court in Bangalore, filed a bail petition in Karnataka High Court on Monday.Jayalalithaa moved the Karnataka high court on Monday seeking bail and challenging her conviction in the disproportionate assets case.
According to sources, the party is considering roping in Ram Jethmalani to fight for their leader considering his legal acumen in such cases.
Giving strength to the news Jethmalani condemned the verdict by a special court in Bangalore which did not even grant permission to Jaya to be moved to a private hospital as she was feeling uneasy inside the court premise.
According to reports Jethmalani is going to file another petition demanding for re-investigation of the case.It is known that Jayalalithaa has been found guilty and convicted in the illegal assets case to the tune of Rs 66 crores.
Jethmalani is a famous criminal lawyer and he earlier dealt Jagan case when CBI booked him under illegal assets case.Given his reputation, Mr. Jethmalani is believed to charge even one crore for one day.Observers say that this unexpected development might prove to be a shot in the arm for the beleaguered AIADMK supremo.
