Jagan's "Official Residence" Being Spruced Up In Vizag

AP CM YS Jagan's announcement that the administrative headquarters of his government could be in Vizag has sent the political class into a tizzy. It has setoff an intense debate. There is a strong buzz that the Expert Committee will hasten the submission of its report on the issue and that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy would speed up the capital works in the right earnest. Sources also say that the work on Vizag capital and the CM's official residence have already began taking shape.
Reports say that the official residence of the CM is being spruced up near Bhimili coast. The guesthouse at Bhimili would be used as the official guesthouse of Jagan Mohan Reddy. Repairs have already been taken up at the building. Whenever Jagan is in Vizag, he is expected to stay in this building.
Meanwhile the TDP is opposing the three-capital formula. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan too is strongly opposing the idea. They said that the capital should be centred in and around Amaravati only. However, the TDP and Jana Sena leaders from north Andhra and Rayalaseema are silent on the issue. They cannot afford to oppose this as this will alienate them from the people. They will have to face the music from the voters in the next elections if they oppose the capital at Vizag. Some leaders are said to be asking Chandrababu not to say anything on this issue.
