The YSR Congress party is constantly accusing the previous government of the scam that took place during the Capital city Amaravati construction. After YSR Congress came into power, a debate started in the political circles whether Amaravati will remain the capital city or not. Keeping full stop to the rumors CM Jagan has made it clear that he doesn't have any idea of shifting the capital city as the entire process has to be repeated which is a time taking process. But the YSR Congress party has decided to focus on the corruption that took place during the reign of former AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
As part of this, the government has already appointed a committee to investigate corruption. According to the reports, the committee has completed the report which will be submitted to CM shortly. Already discussions have been started on the details in the report.

The most crucial information in the report is the allocation of ten thousand rupees per square foot for construction in Amaravati. In the reports, it was mentioned that no other state in the country so much high price even in cities like Hyderabad and Bangalore.
According to some media reports, the officials have made a point that no other CM in the country has allotted 10,000 per square feet to the contractors which looks like an act of negligence.
The previous government has spent hundreds of crores only for designs. With that money, many buildings can be built but they have wasted it on the designs. Let's see how Jagan takes action after getting all the required information.
