Jagan plans Praja Durbars to lister to peoples grievances
X
It is now emerging that AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is seriously planning to hold Praja Durbars across the state. Through this programme, he is planning to create an interface with the people of the state. The party feels that such an interface is much needed to build a positive image about his government.

There is an increasing feeling that the government has had no outreach with the people during the last three years in power. As Chief Minister, YS Jagan has been confined to the Tadepalli office. He limited himself to Tadepalli and occasionally visited some important towns for inaugurations and other such programmes.

Initially, there used to be a Praja Vedika near Chandrababu's residence while he was a chief minister. He used to meet people at the Praja Vedika. After Jagan came to power, he got the Praja Vedika demolished. He built a temporary shed to hold Praja Durbar. But, due to various reasons, the Praja Durbar could not be held. Hence, the government is planning praja durbars at Tadepalli.

In addition, YS Jagan is also planning to tour all the district headquarters in the state to meet the people directly and to listen to their grievances. With elections just two yeas away, the district tours have become important for the party. The dates for the Praja Durbar would soon be announced, according to party sources.
