Jagan's Reaction On KA Power Struggle
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 May 2018 5:31 AM GMTPolitical Developments in Karnataka kept changing quickly due to the verdict given by voters. BJP attempted to poach Congress and JD (S) MLAs to win the trust vote. In the end, The National Party has accepted the defeat and CM BS Yeddyurappa tendered his resignation.
YS Jaganmohan Reddy linked Karnataka Power Politics with that of unethical practices of TDP Government: 'Karnataka Episode ended. Constitution has won. More worse violation of Constitution kept happening in AP in the past four years. While BJP was accused of trying to bribe MLAs, Here CM Chandrababu Naidu bought 23 MLAs like cattle in the market. Four out them were offered Ministerial Berths. No action has been taken by Speaker though YSRC boycotted Assembly Sessions seeking disqualification of defector MLAs'.
YCP Chief recalled how Chandrababu Naidu was caught red handed bribing Nominated MLA in the MLC Polls. 'It's shameful that such a person is talking about the Constitution. At least, BJP ended horse trading in Karnataka fearing bad reputation. But here, TDP Leadership went ahead shamelessly. After Karnataka episode, Leaders, Experts and Media need to focus on this issue,' stressed Jagan.
