Jagan refused appointment to this YSRCP MLA
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Feb 2022 12:07 PM GMTMore and more YSRCP MLAs are expressing unhappiness at YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's inaccessibility. The latest MLA to come out into the open and express displeasure at the way he has been refused an appointment is Rajampet MLA Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy. He said that he could not secure an appointment to take to his notice the anger among the people over making Rayachoti the headquarter of proposed Annamayya district.
Several MLAs are upset over having no say in the disbursal of pensions and selection of beneficiaries. They argue that everything is done at the click of a mouse by YS Jagan himself. The verification of the service delivery is done by the village volunteers practically leaving nothing for the MLA to do.
Meanwhile, the issue of carving out Annamayya district, has become controversial. Rajampet MLA Mallikarjuna Reddy is unhappy at the government's decision to make far-off Rayachoti as the district headquarters. The MLA stood with the local people on the issue and has even submitted a memorandum to the Kadapa district collector.
He sought an appointment with Jagan to put-forth his point of view. However, Jagan did not give him any appointment. MLA's brother Vijayasekhar Reddy made this public. This has proved to be an embarrassment for the YSRCP. The party is said to have taken a serious view of Vijayasekhar Reddy's comments.
