Jagan share is 50 lakhs
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Oct 2014 6:53 AM GMTYSRCP Chief and opposition leader of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced Rs. 50 Lakhs donation for the Hudhud affected people in Andhra Pradesh.Jagan said that the funds will be utilized through YSR foundation.Jagan has also instructed his party workers to engage in the relief operations in the cyclone-battered regions.
Jagan was currently on Vizag and he inspected the losses of people in many cyclone affected areas.Jagan demanded that the cyclone Hudhud, which devastated the North-Coastal Andhra districts on October 12, be immediately declared a National Calamity by the Central Government
Jagan asked state to government to bear cost of repair of damaged boats and demanded that the fishermen were paid ex-gratia of Rs 20,000 per family until boats are set on sail .He also asked government to provide fiber boats that can withstand such storms.
Other side AP government is taking necessaru measures to restore the situation in Vizag.AP CM Chandrababu said that every citizen of Visakha could take the essential items supplied by Government for free. He informed Government has taken measures to supply food for 9 lakh families.
