Jagans total dependance on IPAC irks party workers

Has the YSRCP outsourced its organisational functions to the IPAC? This is the doubt that several YSRCP leaders are getting these days, especially after the BC conclave organised by Rajya Sabha MP Vijaysai Reddy in Vizag. Similarly, only those accepted by the IPAC team were invited to the review meeting of the party workers from the Tekkali assembly constituency.

These two incidents have set off a furious debate over the kind of control that IPAC exercised in the YSRCP. Though Prashant Kishor is busy building his party in Bihar, his acolyte Rishi Raj is leading the survey team in Andhra Pradesh. It is the IPAC team which is setting the agenda in the YSRCP. It is monitoring the prestigious Gadapa Gadapaku programme in the state.

Sources say that the team is busy deciding the candidates for the 2024 elections. Jagan is said to be totally dependent on their assessment of the situation in each assembly constituency. The IPAC is sending daily reports on the implementation of the programme to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. A performance appraisal of every assembly constituency incharge is being sent.

Interestingly, KCR terminated his agreement with Prasant Kishore sometime ago. Now, KCR himself is directing the party’s strategy in Telangana. In Andhra Pradesh, however, Jagan seems to be depending fully on Team PK’s advice. He is said to be taking IPAC team’s recommendation quite seriously while taking any key decision.
