In the wake of the second phase of lockdown in India coming to an end by the 3rd of May and the holy month of Ramadan nears, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a video conference with the Muslim leaders in the state at the CM Camp office in Tadepalli.

In the video conference which was held to discuss the tense situation followed by the deadly outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the district collectors also took part along with the Muslim leaders.

It has been widely reported that in the teleconference, CM Jagan has requested the Muslim leaders to understand the current situations and offer their prayers at their homes as the lockdown was active in the state.

Jagan has also urged the Muslim leaders to make the Muslims understand the tense situation and see that they offer their prayers at their homes.

Earlier the government has not given permission to celebrate festivals like Ugadi, Sri Rama Navami, Good Friday and Easter and urged the public to celebrate the festivals at their homes only.
