Jagan's Prestigious Scheme In CBN's District
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 Jan 2020 8:34 AM GMTChief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will be launching Amma Vodi Scheme on January 9th, 2020. He choose Chittoor, the district from where Chandrababu Naidu hails from, for kickstarting his prestigious scheme.
Under Amma Vodi Scheme, BPL Families who are sending their children to the schools will receive Rs 15,000 per annum.
Amma Vodi Scheme is going to be launched by CM Jagan during the public meeting at PVKN Government College in Greams Peta, Chittoor. Collector Narayan Gupta and SP Senthil Kumar are monitoring the arrangements at the venue. This is for the first time YS Jagan has been visiting Chittoor after becoming Chief Minister. So, YCP Leaders have been leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand success.
Opposition Parties wondered how YCP Government will be able to fulfill Amma Vodi Promise inspite of the financial crisis. Much to their shock, Jagan allotted Rs 6,455 crore for Amma Vodi scheme in the first budget itself. This scheme is going to be applicable for the students of all Government, Aided, Private, Govt Junior Colleges, Private Junior Colleges and Gurukul Schools. Parents of Class 1 to Intermediate Students are going to be the beneficiaries.
