Senior Telangana Congress Leader Has A Suggestion To Party Over TPCC Chief Selection!
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 Dec 2020 10:43 AM GMTThe selection process of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee has resulted in a small size storm within the Telangana wing of the Congress party, as the leaders started expressing their displeasure with the election process.
Many senior leaders are said to be against the Delhi leadership of the Congress party favoring Revanth Reddy as one of the picks for the TPCC chief post.
Amid this, senior Congress leader and Sangareddy Legislator Jagga Reddy has reportedly written to Telangana AICC in-charge Manickam Tagore over the TPCC chief post.
In his letter, the Congressman is said to have requested Manickam Tagore to continue former TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy in the post till the Nagarjuna Sagar by-elections.
He even suggested that, after the Nagarjuna Sagar by-elections, the Congress party can work on the TPCC selection process. The MLA requested him to consider the inputs of the senior leaders before appointing the new boss for the state wing.
The other day, Hanumantha Rao gave an ultimatum to the Congress party and threatened to leave the party if MP Revanth Reddy was made the TPCC chief.
Let us wait and see how Congress deals with the TPCC chief selection process. The party is said to announce the new TPCC chief in January, next year.
