What led to AP Bifurcation?, Jairam Ramesh reveals

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh penned a book 'Old History - New Geography - Bifurcating Andhra Pradesh' to share the developments which led to the bifurcation of United AP.
Jairam Ramesh believes KCR wouldn't have taken up Telangana Movement had if Chandrababu Naidu inducted him into his Cabinet. According to him, The two letters given by TDP favoring Telangana statehood played a part. He also feels YSR's sudden demise was a huge turning point and given a new lease of life to KCR. At the same time, He shares KCR's deteriorating health after he took up fast unto death in 2009 compelled UPA Government to give its nod for bifurcation.
The Former Rajya Sabha MP, however, admits Congress paid a huge price with bifurcation. He confessed that Congress leadership never anticipated terrible performance in both AP and Telangana during 2014 Polls.
On the Special Category Status to AP, Jairam Ramesh questions Venkaiah Naidu what his Government has done so far after promising 10 years SCS in the Upper House.
