Mudragada Padmanabham consoled YSRC Youth Wing State President Jakkampudi Raja while he was undergoing treatment in a Hospital. The Kapu Leader condemned the attack of Rajamahendrapuram SI on Raja and demanded the State Government to dismiss the cop with immediate effect. He questioned, 'If Leaders don't have safety, what about the general public? Did Chief Minister have prior information about this attack?'.
In protest against SI Nagaraju's attack on Jakkampudi Raja, YSR Congress called for a bandh in Rajamahendrapuram. Main Opposition demanded filing of a case against the Sub-Inspector.
YCP Youth Wing Leaders staged protest against the attack on Jakkampudi Raja in Anakapalli as well. They wore black badges at Ramachandra Theatre Junction.
