Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan responded on the brutal murder of Senior Journalist Gauri Lankesh in Bengaluru. 'I don't know whether the perpetrators behind this heinous crime against a frail senior journalist-wielding a simple pen will ever get caught or punished but I can say one thing for sure they are losing their ground. Killing Gauri Lankesh in cold blood will create a million Gauris. May her soul rest in peace!!! JAI HIND!!,' he wrote.
The Actor-turned-Politician said a bullet in the forehead cannot stop the expression of a committed individual holding a tiny pen in hand and with a raging fire in the heart for social commitment & social justice. He opines situations might go overboard but opinion expressed in the form of brutal killing can't be justified and it's like killing the spirit of our founding fathers.
PK opined it would be unfair on his part to blame the Hindutva forces behind the assassination without knowing the facts. He claims the assassination of the Journalist reminds him of a preface from the Book 'The Other Path' by Peruvian Economist Hernando De Soto. 'When your opposition run out of arguments, they can only make statements with Gun Powder. This shows we are winning & the opposition is losing their ground,' says the Jana Sena Chief.
