Truth Behind Jana Sena Symbol Cancellation

Social Media has become a tool for those who spread blatant lies. Speculations had surfaced on social media that Election Commission of India has cancelled the election symbol of Jana Sena Party. Quickly, A section of electronic media reported the news without verifying.

Shockingly, The rumour has been circulated using the Letter Head and forgery signatures of key leaders of Jana Sena Party. Party Members were shell shocked to know that the election symbol was cancelled. They wondered on which symbol should Jana Sena Candidates contest if the news is true.

Jana Sena Leadership got alerted immediately and condemned the rumour. Party's Political Secretary P Hari Prasad issued a statement clarifying Glass Tumbler remains as the election symbol of Jana Sena. He termed the rumour as a bad propaganda of political opponents to demoralize Jana Sainiks and Party Supporters. Hari Prasad told official statements of Jana Sena will be displayed on Twitter and Facebook handles of the Party.
