TRS MLA encroached Water Body: Collector

Jangaon Collector Sri Devasena accused TRS MLA Muttireddy Yadagiri Reddy of encroaching 5 acres of water body.
During the press conference, Sri Devasena said Jangaon MLA had encroached 2,000 square yards of tank land stating it was done to develop a temple. She mentions Rs 30 lakh expenditure quoted by the Legislator has to be verified before sanctioning Rs 2.3 crore for the development of the land.
The Collector ordered cancellation of land registration citing no activity should be allowed in a water body as per Supreme Court directions.
MLA Yadagiri Reddy condemned the allegations made by the Collector. He claims not even a single square yard of the water body is registered in his name. He offered to face any punishment if the allegations were proven.
