Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Wife Jashodaben filed an RTI application with Regional Passport Office (RPO) seeking details about her husband's passport. She urged RPO to provide details of the marriage-related documents submitted by NaMo to obtain passport during his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister.
In November last year, Jashodaben's application seeking a Passport for her was rejected on grounds that she hasn't furnished marriage certificate or a joint affidavit proving that she is married to Modi. As a result, She sought details about Prime Minister's passport.
Regional Passport Officer ZA Khan confirms rejection of Passport for Jashodaben for lacking necessary documents. He assures a reply to RTI Application within few days.
