Whenever we talk about the highest-paid player of the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI), players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma pop up in our minds. But this is 2020, anything can happen.

To everyone's surprise, Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah beats skipper Virat Kohli and star opener, Rohit Sharma, to emerge as BCCI's highest-paid player in the year 2020.

According to the information, this year, Jasprit Bumrah has earned not less than Rs 1.38 crore. He earned the amount, for playing nine ODIs, 8 T20Is, and four Test matches.

He is currently the second test against Australia in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar trophy, who will be playing two more matches in the series.

Skipper Virat Kohli stood at second place in the list with Rs 1.29 crore. Kohli missed the chase to make it to the top spot as he missed three tests as part of his paternity leave.

Rohit Sharma, who missed many matches due to his fitness issues failed to find a place in the list of highest-paid cricketers by BCCI.

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja bagged the third spot in the list with an earning of Rs 96 lakh, who played 2 Tests*, 9 ODIs, and four T20Is in this year so far.
