KS Jawahar Reddy Takes Charges As TTD Executive Officer
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 Oct 2020 11:00 AM GMTThe 1990 Indian Administrative Services (IAS) batch officer KS Jawahar Reddy, who was appointed as the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Executive Officer (EO) by the AP government on Friday took charge today.
On Saturday morning, Jawahar Reddy reached Tirumala from Alipiry by walk. He took over the charge from Additional EO Dharma Reddy was made in-charge for a brief period, after the then EO Anil Kumar Singhal was transferred.
After taking charge of TTD EO at the Ranganayakula Mandapam, he met the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) officials at Annamayya Bhavan.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney issued orders to appoint Dr. K S Jawahar Reddy, Special Chief Secretary to Government Health, Medical and Family Welfare department as TTD EO.
1993 batch IAS officer Anil Kumar Singhal was made TTD EO by the former AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in May 2017, during their regime, which created an uproar for appointing a north Indian IAS officer.
After his tenure came to an end on October 2, the Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy appointed him as the principal secretary (health, medical, and family welfare).
