What Happened 2 Days Before Jaya's Death?
By: Tupaki Desk | 25 Aug 2018 10:24 PM ISTThree Doctors of AIIMS (Pulmonologist Dr GC Khilnani, Cardiologist Dr Nitish Naik and Anaesthetist Dr Anjan Trikha) appeared before the Arumughaswamy Commission constituted by Tamil Nadu Government to probe the death mystery of former CM Jayalalithaa.
Questioning of the AIIMS Doctors began at 10 AM and lasted till 5 PM. The trio informed they hadn't given any treatment to Jayalalithaa during her stay in Apollo Hospitals but were assigned the duty of overseeing the medical assistance given to her.
AIIMS Doctors were cross-examined by VK Sasikala's Lawyers and the Commission. They disclosed Jayalalithaa was able to sit on her own for 20 minutes on December 3rd, 2016. She breathed her last due to massive cardiac arrest two days later.
Doctors told Jayalalithaa's condition remained serious since the day she was hospitalized and breathing only with machine support. They had informed then CM O Panneerselvam was briefed about her condition frequently.
