Jayalalithaas condition to AP CM @ Amaravati
X
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been inviting the CMs of all the states in the country for laying the foundation stone of proposed new capital Amaravati on October 22nd. Each one of them reacted in a different fashion till date. While Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal told he would attend the ceremony depending upon the possibility, Tamil Nadu CM has fixed a condition to grace the auspicious event.

Soon after an invitation was extended to her, Jayalalithaa sought the release of 516 red sandalwood cutters from Andhra Prisons with immediate effect. She wrote a letter to AP Chief Minister in this regard and need less to say the reaction has shocked the TDP Supremo.

The relations between AP & Tamil Nadu got strained a bit ever since the encounter at Seshachalam forest which resulted in the death of 20 red sandalwood cutters. Tamil Nadu Government has been raising this issue quite often to irk the AP Government. When Naidu sought continuation of Telugu language in Tamil Nadu Government Schools, Jayalalithaa reacted in a similar fashion and this continued even after she was invited for Amaravati ceremony.
