Jayalalithaa's Medical Bill: AIADMK clarifies!

Reports of Apollo Hospitals serving Rs 80 crore medical bill to AIADMK Government towards the medical expenses of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister late J Jayalalithaa's death surfaced few days ago.
However, Tamil Nadu Government Officials have condemned these speculations. It's been clarified that expenditure weren't anywhere close to Rs 80-90 crore as speculated by a section of media. AIADMK also informed Apollo Hospitals has neither offered the bill nor sought any kind of payments so far.
Jayalalithaa hospitalized on September 22nd this year. She passed away after undergoing treatment for 75 days. The entire second floor of Apollo Hospitals has been vacated for security reasons during the stay of Amma. Experts from London and Dehli have flown to Chennai to monitor her health condition. More than 30 doctors of Apollo Hospitals have treated Jayalalithaa at various stages.
