How Jayalalithaa & Kuppam are inter-linked?

Not many knew, The ancestors of Jayalalithaa used to live in Kuppam which is the constituency of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu.
Between the period 1945-50, Jayalalithaa's grandfather LS Raju Ayyangar who is a renowned lawyer in Bangalore owned a house in Lakshmipuram near Kuppam. Altogether, There are around 400 Ayyangar families in Kuppam. LS Raju & his family members would attend Varadaraja Swamy temple brahmotsavam every year. Even Jayalalithaa used to accompany her grand father 2-3 times.
LS Raju had built a guest house near the temple. He used to stay there whenever he visited Lakshmipuram. Upon knowing that the structure was in a bad position, Jayalalithaa promised to build a marriage hall in the same place.
The family of LS Raju used to visit Brundhavan a Gersibavi near Lakshmipuram and conduct rituals. After the demise of Mr.Raju, His great-grand son continued the tradition. Jayalalithaa's Family & Close Relatives shifted base to Bangalore in Karnataka and Mysuru in Tamil Nadu.
