Few days after AIADMK MP made headlines for slapgate row, An MLA of the Ruling Party in Tamil Nadu stunned everyone with an announcement that its his party chief Jayalalithaa who inspired Hillary Clinton to be in race for the US President's post.
AIADMK Legislator Ramu who is representing Coonoor Assembly Segment told that Hillary Clinton's hour-long meeting with Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa in the year 2011 has influenced her a lot to aim for becoming the first woman presidential candidate. The Lawmaker says Hillary Clinton was left spellbound witnessing Jaya's fluency in English and other skills.
When she was US Secretary of State in 2011, Hillary Clinton met Jayalalithaa and even invited the AIADMK Supremo to America to discuss about the development which took place in Tamil Nadu. In July this year, Jayalalithaa congratulated Hillary Clinton after she was nominated as Democratic Presidential Candidate. Did these developments prompted AIADMK MLA to make such a statement?
