It is an open secret that Tamilians love their mother-tongue so much and they mostly prefer speaking in Tamil only. On one rare occasion, Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa spoke in Telugu during the Assembly proceedings.
When a MLA, who hails from united Andhra Pradesh, raised the issue of discrimination against other languages in Tamil Nadu, Then CM Jayalalithaa surprised everyone in the House by speaking in Telugu. 'Anni Bhashalni Kapadataniki Memu Siddamga Unnam, Emi Cheyyalo Cheppandi Meru,' she replied.
This video footage has gone viral on Social Media long back. It has only become much more popular after Jayalalithaa's demise last night in Apollo Hospitals.
Jayalalithaa has acted in 25-odd films in Telugu Film Industry. She dubbed on her own for most of these feature films. People who were close to Jayalalithaa are well aware of the fact that she could speak as many as seven languages.
