Jayalalithaa walks out of Prison, Celebrations skyrocket!

AIADMK Chief J Jayalalithaa stepped out of prison on Saturday afternoon after 3 weeks stay in Parappana Agrahara Central Prison. Tamil Nadu CM O Pannerselvam, Cabinet Ministers and MLAs were present at the prison at the time of release.

Soon after stepping out of prison, Jayalaliithaa headed to HAL airport to reach Chennai in a special flight. Celebrations have skyrocketed with the news of Jaya's release and AIADMK Supporters went berserk upon seeing Amma outside the prison.

The situation at Jayalalithaa's Poes Garden residence is no different. Though she would arrive at her residence only after 7 pm, Thousands of supporters have already gathered to get a glimpse of their favourite leader.

Jayalalithaa's lawyers have submitted a bond of Rs 2 crore and surety on assets to the tune of Rs 1 crore have been furnished before the Special Court issued the release orders. Jaya's close aides Sasikala, relatives Sudhakaran and Elavarasi to have been released after furnishing surety.
