In the latest development, the Tamil Nadu government decided to acquire the prestigious Veda Nilayam, the residence of late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa in the pose garden.
The actress-turned-politician bought Veda Nilayam back then when she was an actress. Later when she became the Chief Minister, Veda Nilayam turned out as the official residence of Chief Minister.
Some media reports emerged that after Jayalalithaa became the Chief Minister on TN, she directed the officials to clear the entire pose garden in the name of safety measures reportedly.
