Why JP congratulated AP Youth?

Jayaprakash Narayan congratulated the Youth who are organizing & mobilizing public opinion on the solemn pledge of Special Status to AP.

Lok Satta Chief maintains achieving Special Status is a complex challenge as years have been passed by since bifurcation and other states gonna oppose it. He believes peaceful protest will shift focus towards the Tax Concessions which is the major benefit from Special Status. He also feels the need of finding a political solution that's acceptable for all the neighboring states.

JP wants Centre & State Governments to reach consensus over Special Status. He informs Special Package announced by Centre could no way match the benefits of Special Status. He stresses the need for Tax Exemptions to boost investments and create lakhs of jobs.

1) Tax Exemptions

a) 100% Income Tax exemption

b) Corporate Tax exemption

c) Excise Duty exemption

d) Customs Duty exemption

2) 30% Capital Investment allowance

3) Reimbursement of Insurance Premium for Industries

4) 3% Interest Subsidy on loans to set-up Industries

5) Reimbursement of Transport Charges

6) 50% Subsidy on Power Bills
