Jayasudha Quits Congress; Joins TDP

Tollywood's vetersn actress and former Secunderabad MLA Jayasudha on Saturday resigned from Congress party. She resigned from the party and joined Telugu Desam Party in presence of TDP chief Naidu while ago. Speaking to reporters, she said the credit for developing Hyderabad and making it an important centre for Information Technology goes to Chandrababu.
Jayasudha elected as MLA from Secunderabad constituency in 2009 .After being defeated in 2014 elections from the same constituency, Jayasudha remained inactive in politics.
As Congress is promoting another leader Karthika Reddy for the mayor post in the current election, Jayasudha decided to call it quits with Congress. Jayasudha has asked the party leadership to relieve her of the charge of the Secunderabad constituency. Significantly, she cited movies and personal commitments as the reason. Jayasudha entry is expected to help the TDP as she has good following among women as an actress of repute.
