Former CBI Joint-Director Lakshminarayana obtained voluntary retirement while serving as Additional DGP in Maharashtra to foray into politics. He kept everyone guessing for several months about the party he might join. There was buzz that he could join Jana Sena or BJP or TDP.
In his recent interview, Lakshminarayana revealed only two parties (AAP, BJP) approached him so far. The Former IPS made it clear he might join the party which works according to his ideology/principles or float his own party.
