Is Ex-Janasenani Lakshmi Narayana Looking At "AAP"?
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Feb 2020 8:56 AM GMTIAS officer Jayaprakash Narayana resigned to his job and sought out a revolutionary change in politics with Loksatta. His movement failed to ignite any consolidated reaction from voters over 20 years of journey and he gave up on that idea while he is still advocating the ideology behind it.
Another Government Employee, Arvind Kejriwal resigned to his post and joined Anna Hazare's movement against Indian Government of that time for Farmers 10-12 years ago.
Opposite to Anna's wishes, he converted the movement into a political party, AAP and found success in Delhi. He won the Delhi elections as incumbent CM for third time with unassailable majority from previous election.
He found minor success in Punjab and is looking to spread to Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar by next general elections. He is eyeing Andhra Pradesh as best bet to take his National party ambitions forward, it seems.
Even though Loksatta failed in Telugu states and even Janasena doesn't look like a prospective alternative, he thinks ex-CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana, can execute his plans better in AP, it seems.
Lakshmi Narayana resigned to Janasena membership, showing Pawan Kalyan's interest in joining movies back as a reason and he did not win the election but came close in Vizag, where he contested, as second preference to the winner.
So, Aravind Kejriwal wants to meet Lakshmi Narayana and decide on future plans for AAP in AP, with him as the state head, it seems. The meeting could happen after Aravind Kejriwal completes his swearing-in ceremony as Delhi CM, it seems.
