Dilemma Over JD (S)-Congress Cabinet Ends

Allotment of portfolios has become a headache for Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy. Few days ago, He admitted becoming CM at the mercy of Congress and can't take decisions without the consent of the National Party. This statement shows how much he is dependent on the Congress which made him CM despite JD (S) emerging as third best in Assembly Polls.
Talks between JD (S) and Congress have been continuing since several days over the power-sharing. Though both the parties agreed for 12-22 Portfolios Deal, They couldn't reach an understanding over allotment of key Ministerial Berths until recently. Statement issued by JD (S) Leader on Thursday indicates the exercise has been completed even before Rahul Gandhi's return from Foreign Tour.
While speaking to media, JD (S) Leader Danish Ali said: 'We have already 5 times to discuss portfolios allotment. After discussions, A conclusion has been reached that Finance Portfolio will be offered to JD (S). I will leave to Bengaluru for holding talks with My Party Leaders. Would meet Kumaraswamy Swamy and Deve Gowda to discuss what should be done'.
