Projecting YSR as Corrupt is a Self-Goal
By: Tupaki Desk | 21 Dec 2016 1:12 PM GMTFormer Minister Jeevan Reddy opined Congress paid a huge price by picturizing YS Rajasekhar Reddy as corrupt.
In a recent interview, Mr.Reddy said: 'All the Cabinet Ministers were collectively responsible for the decisions taken from 2004 to 2009. Why blame YSR alone? I don't understand why CBI didn't name any of the Ministers who sanctioned projects to Jagan Companies in the charge sheet? None of the quid-pro-quo allegations against YS Jagan will be proved in any of the courts. Then Minister P Shankar Rao himself filed the case against Jagan. Congress party has nothing to do with it!'.
'CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has done a mistake by not filing a counter on behalf of State Government. How much did Jagan benefit from quid-pro-quo? We can understand if there is Rs 10 crore of corruption in a Rs 100 crore project. But, Is it possible to amass Rs 1000 crore illegal wealth from a Rs 100 crore project? It's a simple logic'.
