Jeeyar Swami ends up as loser after the mega fete

Has Jeeyar Swami overplayed his hand and has ended up losing on both sides? Have his comments and actions boomeranged on him? Has become completely isolated, despite the massive publicity he got after the Samatha Murthy event? Has it turned out to be a case of âoperation success, but patient died?â
Everything was planned to the minutest detail at Muchintal. The VIP guest list read like Who is Who of Indian public life. There was great media attention. The state government went out of the way to organize things and the Central leaders made a beeline to Muchintal. There was support from all quarters. Everyone praised him to the skies and the seer was on cloud nine.
But In this head atmosphere, the seer it appears has lost control over himself. He praised Modi to sky height at the wrong time. He even ignored KCR's sensibilities. Since the Modi visit, KCR turned icy cold and stopped visiting the ashramam. The whole TRS machinery began distancing itself from the celebrations.
As if this was not enough, KCR reportedly barred Jeeyar Swami from the Yadadri temple consecration. This is a big blow to Jeeyar's clout. There was nothing that the BJP could do to help him as it is not in power in Telangana.
At the same time, some of his comments on the non-Sri Vaishnava sects and their religious heads have vertically split the Hindus. The non-Vaishnavas, who whole-heartedly backed him all along, fell out. So, at the end of the 10-day mega event, the Jeeyar Swamihas ended up losing not just what he gained, but also what he already had.
