Jeff Bezos Loses The Worlds Richest Man Title

AmazonFounder and CEO Jeff Bezos lost the title of the richest man in the world after the Amazon posted a huge loss in the third-quarter results. The shares of online retail dripped by 7 percent during the initial period of trading on Thursday, leaving Bezos down to $103.9 billion. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is currently worth $105.7 billion.
Bill Gates, who topped the Forbes list of world's richest people in 1987, has been in the same position for 24 years. Bezos became one of America's richest men in 1998. Bezos had ended Gates' 24-year-reign as the richest man in 2018 when his net worth surged to $160 billion.
The Bezos couple finalized their divorce in April and it is reported as the biggest divorce settlement in history, Bezos has to pay $36 billion in the form of royalties, and this resulted in Bezos to come to the second place.
